Assisted Living:
Q: Is there an entrance fee?
A: There is no entrance fee, however residents are asked to pay
the first months rent and a security deposit equal to the first
months rent at the time they move in.
Q: How do I pay for my assisted living stay?
A: The assisted living center only accepts private funding. Some long term
care insurance policies cover assisted living but residents should check their
individual policies.
Q: Is the apartment furnished?
A: The apartments are not furnished. This allows residents to bring furnishings
that will make their new setting more comfortable and appealing to them.
Q: May I bring my car to Villa Crest?
A: Resident parking is available with easy access to the assisted living center. Parking
spaces are assigned based on apartment number.
Q: May I leave my apartment to spend time with
family or on vacation?
A: Residents can come and go from their apartment as they normally would.
Often residents spend time in Florida or visiting family in other parts of the
country.
Q: May I have guests in my apartment?
A: Residents are welcome to host guests. Several guest services are
available including guest meals and sleeping accommodations.
Skilled Nursing Center:
Q: As a skilled resident, am I free to come and go from the center?
A: Medicare guidelines require that residents in the skilled nursing center remain
in the center unless the physician authorizes a therapeutic leave of absence
which usually doesn't exceed 4 hours at a time.
Long Term Care:
Q: How do I pay for my stay at Villa Crest?
A: Villa Crest Nursing Center accepts residents covered by Medicare,
Medicaid, Veteran's Administration funding, and private resources.
Q: When may I have guests?
A: Guests are welcome at any time. After hours entrance may be obtained by using
a special pass code or ringing the north door bell.
Q: Can my grandchildren visit?
A: Absolutely. We welcome visits from children and pets. Visiting pets should
remain on a leash. |
