Rehabilitation ServicesThe center's comprehensive rehabilitation services round out our spectrum of care. These services, provided by licensed rehabilitation personnel are available on an inpatient basis.Physical Therapy helps patients regain their strength and mobility, manage pain and attain the maximum level of safety and independence. Occupational Therapy helps patients regain independence in self care and daily living skills through upper extremity strengthening, coordination and perceptual training. Speech Therapy helps patients overcome communication conditions such as aphasia, swallowing difficulties and voice disorders. Throughout the rehab process the highly dedicated team of trained therapists works with the resident and the resident's family to teach techniques that will support continued independence upon returning home. The rehab professionals on staff are also available to provide an increased level of training for the nursing team. Both work in conjunction to provide the highest level of care possible. |
